Simone & Patrick Say “I Do” with a Glitz and Glam Wedding at South Point Hotel
Bridal Spectacular features a Las Vegas wedding captured by Moxie Studio Photography.
This has got to be one of the cutest engagement stories we have ever heard!
One beautiful afternoon, Patrick surprised Simone by taking her on the VIP tour at the San Diego Wildlife Safari Park where they got to go behind-the-scenes and hold the animals. They first began by holding a bird, then a hedgehog, and then a porcupine named Pokey came walking out. She was wearing a red leash, harness, and there was a sign on her side, which read, “Will you marry me?” Then, Patrick dropped to his knee and asked the same question. All of the employees were in on the surprise and they had champagne waiting for the couple to celebrate!
After their picturesque proposal, the couple attended one of our lovely Bridal Spectacular shows to help plan their dream wedding. After all of their research, Simone and Patrick selected Moxie Studio to capture their special day.
Thank you both for letting Bridal Spectacular share your beautiful Las Vegas wedding with our readers!
A Glimpse at Simone & Patrick’s Wedding
As featured in Spectacular Bride Magazine, Simone and Patrick’s stunning summer wedding took place in a ballroom at South Point Hotel. Boasting a chic glittering black and gold theme with pops of red complete with sparkling table linens, both high and low centerpieces made with white roses and orchids, a spectacular sweetheart table with marquee letters and twinkle lights in the background, and one of the most impressive wedding cakes we have ever seen — Simone and Patrick’s wedding was as picture-perfect as their proposal!
“Our wedding was very outrageous… it was black and gold with pops of red (we like to be different!),” Simone said. “We had a 7-foot wedding cake that is going to be featured on a new TV show on the Food Network called ‘Ridiculous Cakes’ in January. For the show, they filmed us ordering the cake also filmed at the wedding. We had 22 chandeliers, the most LED Unplugged has ever used for one event. We had marquee letters saying “THE GANCIS” suspended from the ceiling, hanging behind our bride & groom chair. We had pyrotechnics. Sparklers shot out of the four corners of the dance floor as we were announced. We had confetti drop during our first dance song, a gold glitter aisle runner, sequin tablecloths, etc…. it was glitz, glam, and glitter everywhere!”
We hope you enjoy this glimpse of Simone and Patrick’s glamorously chic wedding as captured by Moxie Studio Photography!
